Students’ self-efficacy in self-regulation together with behavioural and emotional strengths: investigating their self-perceptions

Students’ self-perceptions are a foundation for educational and psychosocial development. In order to investigate self-perceptions, we need recognise the preconceptions (e.g. doubts confidence) students hold about themselves. this study, examined 10–16-year-old students’ (N=599) self–perceptions from viewpoints of sources self-efficacy in self-regulation behavioural emotional strengths. Specifically, used descriptive analyses examine whether ages or received pedagogical support played role how they perceived themselves, these related each other. Our results indicate that, general, primary school their strengths more positively than did lower secondary students. However, experience stress anxiety task situations not differ between groups. Further, play significant whereas school, differences were found several areas. Finally, that self–efficacy both settings.
